English Bazar Police Arrested Drug Supplier Gang with Help of CMG & SOG

On 27th August Englishbazar Police Station with assistance from Crime Monitoring Group and Special Operation Group,Malda intercepted three persons near Ukilpara on NH-12.

The intercepted persons are(1) Sabdul Sk (52 Years) S/O-Helu Sk of Jalalpur Uttar Raipur P.O-Jalalpur, (2) Sahul Sk (25 Years) S/O-Muslim Sk of vill- Narayanpur (Jalalpur) and Woyesh Sk (50 Years) S/O- Lt. Wazed Sk. of vill Shersahi P.O-Moheshpur. All of under Kaliachak Police Station.

Police recovered and seized 1.586 kg of crude heroin and a bhutbhuti from their possession. The apprehended persons disclosed that the said narcotics will be delivered to Md Lutfur Sk S/O- Md Jamal Sk of Narayanpur (Kismatpur) ,
P.O- Srerrampur, under Kaliachak Police Station,Dist-Malda and Jalal Sk S/O- Lt Toimuddin Sk of Firojpur,P.O.Haruchack under Kaliachack Police Station ,Dist- Malda who were waiting at Jalalpur Rath Math under Kaliachack Police Station, Malda.

Working on this input another team of officers and forces rushed to Jalalpur, under Kaliachak Police Station and both the said receivers were also apprehended.

All the five accused persons have been arrested and police custody is being taken.

Lutful is considered a bigger ( middle level) operator who had mainly invested in getting this consignment. Further linkages are being examined.
