6 Netball Players from Malda represented for West Bengal in National Championship in Hariyana

Since few years various types of sports are flourishing in Malda district. In the past, the state athletics meet was organized in Malda district under the management of the Bengal Olympic Association in March. Recently, the men's and women's state netball competition was held in Pakuahat of the district. This time, two men and four women, that is, 6 sports personals from Malda district have got a chance in the state team. They are Imraj Sheikh ,Shubhajit Acharya, Devi Mandal, Lily Ravidas, Koel Barman and Jyoti Pramanik. Currently, they are representing Bengal in the National Netball Championship held in Palawal, Haryana.
