Sanrakshika 2025 cultural night by CISF Unit Nalco Damanjodi inauguratef

On August 23, 2025, under the aegis of Sanrakshika, a cultural program focused on promoting a happy family life and well-being was held at the new community centre of Suraksha Vihar, CISF Unit, Nalco, Damanjodi. This program is conducted regularly as part of an initiative to improve the psychological well-being of security personnel, offering them a break from their routine and stressful lives.

The event was inaugurated by Sanrakshika President Mrs. Poonam Arya, Senior Commandant Sri Satyadev Arya. Mrs. Mohita Singh, Dy. Commandant Shri Narender Singh, Assistant Commandant Shri Deepak Sarawag, and Assistant Commandant Shri M. Amudhan. Inspector/Exe. Rani Jacob, S.K. Sen, Mrs. Jyotirmayee pradhan, Inspector/exe. R K Pradhan, Mrs. Shruti Prabha Moharana ,INSP/Exe. R K Moharana , Mrs pooja ,INSP/Fire Krishan Kumar and Mrs Runa Lila were also present on the occasion.

More than 30 performances were showcased by the CISF children, personnel, and their families. The highlights of the cultural night included a Sambalpuri dance performed by housewives and a short play addressing Operation Sindoor and online gambling. Additionally, there were solo and group dances by children, as well as patriotic songs and dances performed by participants.

All family members of the security personnel residing in the colony enjoyed the program, and prizes were awarded to the participants at the end of the event by the Sanrakshika President. Food stalls featuring dishes prepared by CISF members were also set up for everyone to enjoy. This effort aimed to foster a friendly atmosphere among CISF members, reduce stress, and enhance the unit's working environment.
