Independence Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Janata Vidyalaya

Pimpalgaon Sarai (Dist. Buldhana) – Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 15th August 2025 at Janata Secondary and Higher Secondary School. The programme was chaired by Sahadeorao Suradkar, Director of Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Chikhli. The chief guests included local Management Committee members Subhash Barskar, Sadashiv Shinde, Ramesh Deshmane, Sanjay Joshi, and Bhavsing Solanki.

The celebrations began with the flag hoisting ceremony, where the national flag was unfurled by Chairperson Sahadeorao Suradkar. The school’s music team presented a patriotic group song, filling the atmosphere with national pride. A “musical parade” performed by the students to the tunes of patriotic songs was a special highlight of the event.

Following this, a tree plantation programme was organised by the school’s Eco Club in collaboration with the Tarun Bharat periodical. Saplings of holy basil (Tulsi) were planted by Sahadeorao Suradkar, Sadashiv Shinde, and other local dignitaries.

A prize distribution ceremony for students of Janata Primary School was also held on this occasion. In his address, Principal Pramod Thombre stated, “We must remember the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and draw inspiration from their dedication. Their courage and selflessness will always guide us on the right path.”

The event was attended by Principal Pramod Thombre, Supervisor Sanjay Pivate, and former teacher Ranjana Jadhav. The programme was compered by Vaishali Manjate, commands were given by Sudam Chandre, and a vote of thanks was proposed by Sanjay Pivate.
