Jyoti Yatra of Swabhav Kabi Gangadhar Meher from Kabi Bhavan to Satalma Senior Secondary School

On the 164th birth anniversary of Swabhav Kavi Gangadhar Meher, the Jyoti Yatra left the Kabi Bhaban and was welcomed with bouquets at Satalma Higher Secondary School. In Satalma village, the villagers also welcomed him by lighting lamps with hanging lights in front of their houses. At the residence of Swabhav Kabi, Bijepur MLA Sanat Kumar Gadatiya and District Magistrate Aditya Goyal, Mahendra Meher, Manoranjan Meher, Sukamuni Meher Rajesh Ray and local Gangadhar lovers were present and lit the lamps in the morning meeting. In this meeting, 40 literary figures from Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, visited various places of poet Gangadhar Meher and finally reached Satlama College and told the students about the close relationship and coordination between Fakir Mohan Sahabi and poet Gangadhar Meher. In the Satalma College meeting, Professor Lokabandhu Padhan welcomed the students and sang the song Mangale Aila Usha by poet Gangadhar. The Gangadhar Smruti Babhan book was released by the guests. The meeting was attended by Principal Lingaraj Behera, film actress Dr. Tapaswini Guru, freelancer and social worker Rakhyakari playwright Dr. Umesh Chandra Satpathi.
