Bandlaguda Police Bust Immoral Trafficking Racket; Three Arrested, Two Absconding

On 08.08.2025, Bandlaguda Police arrested three individuals — Hajera Begum (41), Shahnaaz Fathima (32), and Mohammed Sameer (23) — in connection with an immoral trafficking case (Cr. No. 277/2025). Two accused, identified as Rupa from Bangladesh and Sarwar from Hyderabad, remain absconding.

According to police, a Bangladeshi woman was lured to India by Rupa, brought illegally via West Bengal, and handed over to the accused in Hyderabad. She was confined and forced into prostitution for six months at hotels and residences. On 08.08.2025, the victim managed to escape and approached PS Bandlaguda.

During the operation, police rescued three additional victims trafficked from West Bengal. Seized property includes one auto and three mobile phones.

The arrested were produced before court for judicial remand, while the victims were sent to a rescue home. A search operation is underway to nab the absconding accused. The case was cracked under the supervision of Sri S. Chaitanya Kumar, IPS, DCP South East Zone.
