I am an ex-serviceman who is able to get free medicines from ECHS. For years, my wife and I have not been buying free medicines from ECHS. The reason is that the time wasted waiting and the hassle of getting there is unbearable. Instead of buying branded medicines that cost over ₹4000, we opt for Jan Aushadhi medicines that cost around ₹600 from last few months.
