Shri Deepak Parmar, a native of Ujda village in Shahra taluka of Panchmahal district, obtained his Ph.D. degree from Sardar Patel University

Deepakkumar Vinubhai Parmar has obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Sociology of Sardar Patel University on the subject of "Status and Problems of Migrant Tribal Women Laborers". He has completed his research work under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Ramesh H. Makwana, a renowned sociologist and policy expert of India and a recipient of many state and national awards and currently working in the Department of Sociology of Sardar Patel University.
Shri Deepakbhai Parmar is a native of Ujda village in Shahra taluka of Panchmahal district. Deepak Parmar has probably achieved the distinction of being the first youth to obtain a Ph.D. degree in Ujda village. The entire village feels proud. He has proven to be a role model for many youth of the village.
Based on various social aspects and sociological perspectives of migrant tribal women workers, she has made her Ph. D research thesis on the situation of migrant tribal women workers in Anand and Nadiad cities and the realities of the problems they face there. Also, this study was done keeping in mind migrant tribal women. Its findings are very useful for many branches at the district and taluka levels, various NGOs and organizations working for migrant women workers, as well as for the state government in taking policy decisions for women workers. In addition, she has also made suggestions related to the situation and problems of migrant women workers. Along with this, she has also done important work of creating awareness among women workers about their rights, entitlements, wage allowances and their problems and providing guidance to them.
Eight of her research articles have been published at the national level. He has also presented papers in more than 25 seminars at national and international levels. He has also completed four workshops. Deepak Parmar is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Sociology at Shri Rajeshwar Arts College, Tharad, run by Shri Banaskantha District Marwari Anjana Patel Kelavani Mandal, Tharad.
