UP Government Launches HRMS Portal for ‘Udyami Mitras’ to Boost Investor Facilitation

In a major step towards enhancing investor support and administrative efficiency, the Uttar Pradesh government has launched a dedicated Human Resource Management System (HRMS) portal for ‘Udyami Mitras’. The portal, launched on Monday, is aimed at streamlining key HR operations and strengthening the institutional framework that supports industrial growth in the state.

The newly developed cloud-based HRMS portal has been integrated with the state’s Nivesh Sarathi platform. It is designed to digitize and simplify administrative functions such as attendance, leave, payroll, Form-16 generation, and other core HR tasks. The system provides real-time access to employee records, boosts transparency, and facilitates automated workflows across district and state levels.

Speaking at the launch, UP Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ highlighted that the platform would empower Udyami Mitras with digital tools to better implement UP’s investor-friendly policies on the ground.

“Udyami Mitras play a crucial role in translating policies into actionable impact. With this portal, we are giving them the technology needed to function more effectively,” he stated.

The move follows the rollout of the Mukhyamantri Udyami Mitra Yojana in 2023. Since then, over 110 trained Udyami Mitras have been deployed across districts and industrial authorities. These facilitators serve as a bridge between investors and government departments, assisting in tasks like land identification, MoU tracking, investment proposal verification, and industrial grievance redressal through platforms such as Nivesh Mitra, Nivesh Sarathi, and OIMS.

The HRMS portal marks a significant step in the state’s ongoing digital transformation initiatives, aligning with UP’s commitment to ease of doing business and attracting sustained investments.
