73-Year-Old Mrs. Seema Sonawane in Critical Condition
Mrs. Seema Ramesh Sonawane (73 years old), mother of auto-rickshaw driver Pravin Sonawane residing in Juhu Gaon, Sector 11, Navi Mumbai, is currently in a critical state. She is undergoing treatment at Sai Sneh Deep Hospital in Koper Khairane under the care of Dr. Sonia Shrinivas.
Mrs. Sonawane is battling multiple severe conditions including Haematemesis (vomiting blood), an old CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident/Stroke), and a bedsore on her back. The bedsore urgently requires debridement followed by VAC dressing. Additionally, she needs ongoing medical management and physiotherapy.
Treatment Costs ₹2 Lakhs, Family Facing Financial Hardship
According to hospital information, the estimated cost for Mrs. Sonawane's treatment is approximately ₹2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Only). This amount covers charges for the operation theatre, surgeon and anesthetist fees, doctor consultations, pharmacy, and other medical consumables. As she requires further hospitalization, the financial burden on Pravin Sonawane's family, given their limited income, is immense and beyond their capacity.
Darshan Foundation Takes the Lead with Hospital Visit
In this challenging situation, Dattatray Kale, President of Darshan Foundation, recently visited Mrs. Seema Sonawane at Sai Sneh Deep Hospital to inquire about her health with genuine concern. He assured Pravin Sonawane and his family that Darshan Foundation stands firmly by them during this difficult time.
"Darshan Foundation is always involved in the joys and sorrows of families. We pray that Mrs. Seema Sonawane recovers fully and swiftly," stated Dattatray Kale during his visit. An application has been submitted to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for assistance, and efforts are also underway to secure a recommendation letter from a Member of Parliament.
