As per the social activist Bhaskar Nandan Sarkar, The initial basic pay (first day of employment) of the employees working in the Graduate Scale under the Tripura Government is fixed at 27,300/-, they do not get it due to the Fixed Pay policy. They get regular pay scale after five years of service as per the pay matrix of 2800 grade pay.

After serving for ten years, their basic pay is supposed to be 35,500/- . But since they have been working for five years for a fixed salary, their basic pay in the tenth year is 31,600 /-


The Fixed-Pay Policy is still being continued now also .. which was gifted by previous Left Front Government .
TET qualified Teachers are also in fixed pay for first 5 years.


The Sixteenth Finance Commission will clear the dues to the state, that is, it will commit.
At this time, the state government not only has to clear the DA DR, but also has to decide to form the Eighth Pay Commission. Because the central government has formed the Eighth Pay Commission.
