Former Assam state Minister Sukur Ali Ahamed is no more

Guwahati 5 Jun: Former Assam State Minister and four-time MLA of Chenga Constituency, Sukur Ali Ahmed. He passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 66, in Guwahati, Assam, India.
Sukur Ali Ahmed was a prominent Indian politician and a member of the Indian National Congress. He was elected to the Assam Legislative Assembly from Chenga in 1996, 2001, 2011, and 2016. He also served as a minister in the Third Tarun Gogoi ministry.
