*Malda Division Disbursed ₹7.56 Crore as Final Salary to 16 Honoured Retiring Railway Employees*

As a mark of respect and gratitude towards its retiring staff, Eastern Railway’s Malda Division, under the guidance of *Divisional Railway Manager Shri Manish Kumar Gupta*, organized an *“On-Date Payment”* ceremony in the Mandar Conference Room of the DRM Office, Malda.

The event was organized by the *Personnel* Department. During the ceremony, *Shri Sheo Kumar Prasad, Additional Divisional Railway Manager*, Malda, handed over final salary slips amounting to *₹7.56* crore to *16 railway employees* who retired on May, 2025. These employees had served with dedication across multiple departments and posts, including Personnel, Mechanical, Engineering, Operating, Security and others.

The occasion was also graced by Chief Medical Officer, Smt. Anupa Ghosh, Senior Divisional Personal Officer Shri Indrajit and Senior Divisional Finance Officer Shri Praveen Kumar along with other Railway officials and Employees. Their presence underscored the administration’s commitment to ensuring a respectful and honorable farewell to its retiring workforce.

This initiative aligns with Indian Railways’ broader policy of *“On-Date Payment”* to ensure timely and dignified financial settlement for all retiring employees. Such programs reinforce the Railways’ commitment to a smooth and respectful retirement process while supporting employee welfare and dignity.
