AMU Malappuram Centre celebrates Hall Day 2025

MALAPPURAM, May 9: The Aligarh Muslim University Malappuram Centre (AMUMC), Kerala, celebrated Hall Day 2025 at the Department of Education’s open auditorium, reflecting themes of resilience, unity, and academic excellence.

The event began with a play by the Drama Club, directed by Dr. Imran Ahmed and Dr. Mohammad Abdullah Raza, addressing bullying and student struggles through the lens of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan’s ideals. Dr. Ghalib Nashter and Dr. Hamza VK, Provosts, welcomed the gathering, followed by the inaugural address by Dr. Faisal KP, Director, AMUMC, who emphasized Sir Syed’s educational philosophy.

Wardens Dr. Sadaf Jafri and Dr. Deeba Khanam offered felicitations, while senior students Shamim Akhter and Mahwash Hasan shared reflections.

The Hall Magazine Chrysalis was released by the editorial team, led by Dr. Faisal KP and student editor-in-chief Sidra Fatima. Dr. Sadaf Jafri also released her edited volume, Basics of Guidance & Counseling.

Mementos and prizes were awarded to hall post holders for their contributions. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Azmat Ali, General Warden, Sir Syed Hall.
