Bargarh MP Pradeep Purohits elder sister in law passed away

Today at 5 am, Bargarh Lok Sabha MP Pradeep Purohit's elder sister-in-law Mrs. Sanjukta Purohit passed away at her residence in Paikmal. Late Sanjukta Purohit is the wife of MP Shri Pradeep Purohit's elder brother Shri Bijay Kumar Purohit. Bijay Purohit had been living with all his four brothers in Paikmal village after retiring from Sambalpur Mining Office in 2016. Late Sanjukta Purohit completed her BSc, BED degrees from Sambalpur University and worked as a science teacher at Shrima Sri Aurobindo Purnanga Shiksha Kendra, Sambalpur and Jamuna Kandhuni Girls High School, Paikmal for a few years. She was a devoted and religious woman. For the past few years, she was suffering from cancer and was undergoing treatment at AIIMS Hospital, Bhubaneswar. Her demise has cast a shadow of sorrow over the village of Paikmal. Her last rites were performed at the Swargadwar in Paikmal, where her husband, Shri Bijaya Kumar Purohit, and three brothers, Shri Giridhari Purohit, Ram Ratan Purohit, and Pradeep Purohit, along with all family friends and relatives, were present. The eldest son, Shri Shiva Purohit, performed the Mukhagni.
