
Sketches of 3 suspected terrorists of Pahalgam terror attack released Tourists flee Kashmir govt asks airlines to increase flights intel claims Pakistan Saifullah mastermind
Security and intelligence agencies have released sketches of the suspected terrorists of the Pahalgam attack. Their names have been reported as Asif Fauji, Suleman Shah and Abu Talha. Intelligence sources said that the mastermind of this attack is Lashkar-e-Taiba's deputy chief Saifullah Khalid.
Lashkar-e-Taiba's proxy wing The Resistance Front (TRF) has claimed responsibility for this attack. Meanwhile, Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that we have no hand in this attack.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has reached Pahalgam for investigation.
27 people died in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on Tuesday afternoon. More than 20 people are injured. The attack was carried out when a large number of tourists were present in the Baisaran Valley. The dead include tourists from UP, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Odisha. One tourist each from Nepal and UAE and 2 locals were also killed.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to those killed in the Pahalgam attack in Srinagar. Shah also reached the terror attack site. Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to India on Wednesday morning after his two-day visit to Saudi Arabia. He will hold a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security.
This is the biggest attack in Jammu and Kashmir after the Pulwama attack on 14
February 2019. There was a suicide attack on the CRPF convoy in Pulwama, in which 40 soldiers were martyred. Jaish-e-Mohammed took responsibility for this.
