The region of Drass witnessed intense snowfall accompanied by thunderclouds and storms since last night, transforming the already cold landscape into a dramatic winter scene. According to the Meteorological Department, the heavy snow and stormy weather conditions are expected to persist until the end of the day.

Locals reported loud thunderclaps echoing through the mountains as snow continued to blanket the area, disrupting normal life and affecting visibility. Authorities have advised residents to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel due to slippery roads and possible disruptions in communication.
