Medinipur Quiz Kendra Organizes Blood Donation Camp

Sk Md Imran, Medinipur: Once again, the Medinipur Quiz Kendra Social Welfare Society has come forward to somewhat meet the summer blood demand. Following Tuesday's camp in Panskura, the organization held an in-house blood donation camp at the Medinipur Medical College Hospital Blood Center. Organized ahead of World Health Day, the camp saw a total of 34 blood donors, including 9 women and 5 first-time donors.
Headmaster Amitesh Chowdhury and his daughter Ishani Chowdhury donated blood, as did teacher Sutapa Basu and her son Mitadru Basu, teacher Biplab Pal and his wife Ishita Hazra Pal, teacher Shyam Marik and his wife Rupa Dhar Marik, teacher Banashree Paria, teacher Dipanwita Ghosh, members Bhaskar Gantait, Sagarmoy Jana, and others.
To encourage the blood donors, Gautam Basu, Prasun Kumar Paria, Alpana Debnath Basu, Snehasis Chowdhury, Arabinda Maity, Arindam Das, Sudip Kumar Khanra, Mrityunjay Samanta, Subhrangshu Shekhar Samanta, Sounak Sahu, Maniknchan Roy, Narasimha Das, Manoranjan Manna, Mrinal Chakraborty, Arunangshu Shekhar Paria, Shubharaj Ali Khan, and others were present on behalf of the Quiz Kendra.
