Subject: One way traffic movement for light vehicles on Kishtwar-Sinthan National Highway via Sinthan Top subject to fair weather conditions

ORDER

Following the clearance from NHIDCL, it is hereby ordered that one way traffic movement for light vehicles on Kishtwar Sinthan National Highway via Sinthan Top shall remain open for commuters subject to fair weather conditions as per the instructions given below.

On Wednesday, 2nd April 2025, traffic for light vehicles only will be allowed from Anantnag towards Kishtwar between 10:45 AM and 2:45 PM. Thereafter, one-way traffic arrangement for light vehicles will alternate as follows:

On the odd days of (April 2025), traffic will be permitted from Kishtwar to Anantnag On the even days of (April 2025), traffic will be allowed from Anantnag to Kishtwar.

The cut-off timings for light vehicles to pass through the respective Police Check Posts are as follows:

Parna police Post, Chingam: 10:45 AM to 2:45 PM

Daksum Police Post: 10:45 AM to 2:45 PM

The authorities of NHIDCL shall continuously monitor the road situation and will keep men and machinery ready as and when required.

Commuters are advised to strictly adhere to the timings mentioned above. No vehicle shall be permitted to cross the Police Posts after the stipulated time.

The Station House Officer (SHO), Chatroo, is requested to ensure strict compliance with these regulations within his jurisdiction and shall not permit any vehicle to proceed towards Sinthan Top from the Parna Police Post, Chingam, on the odd days of April 2025.
