Tree Plantation to Generate Environment Awareness

Students of the Department of Business Studies at Punjabi University Campus, Talwandi Sabo, participated in a plantation drive called “Mango Garden” as part of their Environmental Science Studies (EVS) curriculum under the supervision of Mr. Ravi Kumar, Assistant Professor of the department. The program took place in the campus, where the students enthusiastically planted 50 mango trees, along with Dr. Harpreet Singh and Dr. Santosh Sharma, Assistant Professor(s) of the department, in promoting sustainability and environmental awareness. Mr. Ravi Kumar, said that this practical project will not only contribute to making the campus greener but will also provide valuable insight to the students about the importance of environmental conservation.
Head of the Department, Dr. Narinder Kaur and Campus Director Dr. Kanwaljit Singh congratulated the students and the concerned teachers and thanked them for implementing such a project on the campus.
