
Shramdaan Abhiyan held at Malda Railway Division Eco Park
Malda Division of Eastern Railway today conducted a special Shramdaan Abhiyan at Malda Eco Park. The main objective of this initiative was to promote cleanliness, environmental sustainability and increase social responsibility towards maintaining a healthy and green railway infrastructure.
The programme was led by Mr.Manish Kumar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Malda Division. Apart from this, officers from various departments, railway employees and members of Eastern Railway Women Welfare Organisation (ERWWO), Malda participated enthusiastically in the programme. Mrs. Manisha Gupta, President of Eastern Railway Womens Welfare Organization, also actively participated in this cleanliness drive, which further strengthens the commitment of the division towards environment conservation and cleanliness.
Addressing on the occasion, Divisional Railway Manager,Malda Mr. Manish Kumar Gupta stressed on the importance of cleanliness and environmental protection. He appreciated the spontaneous participation of the railway employees and said that cleanliness is not just a drive, but it is a collective responsibility of the entire society.
However Malda Division is committed to organizing such programs in future as well, so that more people can actively participate in creating a clean and healthy environment.
