The Punjabi University Bachao Morcha has submitted a demand letters to the Punjab Governor, Chief Minister and Finance Minister

Sangrur / Patiala ( Joshi ) A meeting of the Morcha was held today at Punjabi University, Patiala, where it was decided to submit a demand letter to the Chief Minister of Punjab and the Hon’ble Governor regarding the financial condition of Punjabi University. In line with this decision, the Punjabi University Bachao Morcha has today submitted a demand letter to the Chief Minister and Hon’ble Governor of Punjab, seeking a 6% increase in the university’s grant and the complete waiver of its debt. This demand letter has been jointly submitted by teachers, employees, students, and pensioners of Punjabi University. The Punjabi University Save Front urges the Punjab Government to approve the 6% grant increase and complete debt waiver in this budget session to ensure a better academic and administrative environment at the university and to address the challenges faced by employees and students.
