Driver died, Scorpio Car Plunges into Canal, Locals Lead Rescue​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Instead of Fire brigade.

March 11, 2025, A Scorpio car fell into a canal near Hariom Holiday Homes on Vadsar Air Force Road at 4:00 PM today.

Local people quickly gathered to help and called the fire brigade. However, fire officials refused to come, saying it was "not in their area" and just gave other phone numbers instead.

Locals had to use their own crane to pull the car out. Police & ambulance arrived at the scene, but the driver was already dead when rescued.

The police have started an investigation into both the accident and why emergency services failed to respond.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
