
Arun Kumar Sahu and Raj Kumar Singh appointed as ambassadors of India to North Macedonia and Guatemala
Arun Kumar Sahu and Raj Kumar Singh are expected to take up the assignment shortly.

New Delhi: Arun Kumar Sahu, a 1996 batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, presently Ambassador of India to the Republic of Bulgaria, has been concurrently accredited as the Ambassador of India to the Republic of North Macedonia, with residence in Sofia.
He is expected to take up the assignment shortly, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of India stated on Monday (March 10, 2025) in a statement.
Earlier, he served in Indian embassies in Beijing, London and Tehran.
He also served as Under Secretary from January 2002 to July 2004 in the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi.
India has appointed Raj Kumar Singh as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Guatemala who is presently Joint Secretary in the MEA.
He is the IFS officer of 1996 batch.
Mr. Singh is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
"Shri Raj Kumar Singh (IFS: 1996), presently Joint Secretary in the Ministry, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Guatemala. He is expected to take up the assignment shortly," the MEA stated.
