Delhi / 28 Jan 2024 / While elections to the 70-member Delhi Assembly are to be held on February 5 and the votes counted on February 8, the political parties are on their feet, common Dehlities does not seem so interested in the elections. They understand their basic amenities are not addressed despite promises being made by the political parties. Delhi is presently facing severe pollution problem with heaps of wastes seen on every nook and corner of the State. Lot of areas in East and West delhi are facing drinking water shortage. Inflation is at its peak and old Delhi is shrunk in transport mess. Arif Ahmad, a local resident from Okhla area says that , " who cares about elections, and what for, when politicians are enriching their lives without doing anything about the problems being faced by a common man"
