ਮੋਗਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਖ਼ੁਫ਼ੀਆ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਲੁੱਟਾਂ-ਖੋਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਾਰਦਾਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਗਿਰੋਹ ਦੇ 02 ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮੁਠਭੇੜ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਟੀਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਟੀਮ ’ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਭੱਜਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਆਤਮ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦਾਖਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਸਥਿਰ ਹੈ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ 'ਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ .32 ਬੋਰ ਪਿਸਤੌਲ ਸਮੇਤ 01 ਜਿੰਦਾ ਕਾਰਤੂਸ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਰਦਾਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਇੱਕ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

Acting on intelligence inputs, Moga Police arrested two members of a gang involved in multiple robbery incidents following an encounter.

When the police team attempted to apprehend them, the suspects attacked the officers and tried to flee. In response, the police acted in self-defense, resulting in one suspect being injured. The injured suspect has been admitted to the hospital, where his condition is reported to be stable.

A .32 bore pistol, one live cartridge, and a motorcycle used in the crimes were recovered from their possession. Further investigation is ongoing.
