Kutch health system becomes alert regarding Human Meta neumonia Virus

The state government has become active after the first positive case of HMPV, i.e. Human Meta Pneumovirus, which is spreading a lot in China, was found in Ahmedabad in Gujarat, while the health system of Kutch has also become alert regarding this virus. The work of increasing surveillance in Kutch has been carried out by the Health Department. District Health Officer Mitesh Bhanderi, while giving details, said that as a positive case of HMPV virus with symptoms including fever, cold, cough was reported in Ahmedabad, as per the state government guidelines, all concerned have been instructed to increase surveillance regarding pneumonia-related cases as part of precautionary measures. Mr. Bhanderi said that this virus is especially affecting children, especially in children, if there is a significant increase in the number of cases, then along with monitoring it, surveillance has been increased in urban and rural areas and precautionary measures have been started.
