*Bovine smuggling bid foiled, 04 bovines rescued, 01 vehicle seized, Accused arrested by Udhampur Police.*

Police team of Police Station Udhampur have foiled one bovine smuggling attempt in which 04 bovines were rescued from a vehicle bearing registration number No. JK02DD-9101 from Jakhani naka point in the jurisdiction of PS Udhampur.

Driver of the vehicle namely Bilal Hussain S/O Sharif Hussain R/O Jard, Jar Krimachi, has been arrested on spot.

All the 04 bovines were rescued and vehicle seized.

In this regard, a case under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Udhampur.

Further investigation of the case is in progress.
