Drinking Water vending machine at Dum Dum Cantonment station (E.R.)

A drinking Water vending machine (R.O.) in totally useless condition was found at Dum Dum Cantonment station of E.R. which was installed by IRCTC and Indian Railways. At the same time just beside the vending machine many stalls are selling Packaged Drinking Water at ₹20/- per litre whereas the cost of the purified R.O. water from the vending machine is ₹8/- per litre.
