ASPIRING ODISHA, three days exhibition conducted at Baripada

ODISHA: Mayurbhanj/Baripada; (DLH KHABAR) - A three-day exhibition named Aspiring Odisha observed at Baripada, Odisha - The exhibition concluded today. After a successful three-day run from December 12th to 14th. Organized
under the guidance of Naba Charan Majhi, Member of Parliament Lok Sabha,
the event aimed to raise public awareness about government initiatives, schemes,
programs, and job opportunities while also promoting local craftsmanship. The
exhibition received an enthusiastic response from the people of Baripada, especially
students.
The valedictory ceremony was graced by Shri Naba Charan Majhi, Member of Parliament, along with distinguished guests Maharaja Praveen Chandra Bhanjdeo and Maharani Rashmi Rajlaxmi Bhanjdeo. They toured the exhibition stalls, interacted with exhibitors, and explored the various displays. The ceremony featured
a cultural program celebrating Odisha's rich heritage, and exhibitors were honored
with trophies as tokens of appreciation.
The event showcased a diverse array of government departments and institutions,
including the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), New Space India Limited (NSIL), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Reserve Bank of India (RBI), National Council of
Educational Research and Training (NCERT), and many others. Also present were organizations like the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), Central Silk Board (CSB), and the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export
Development Authority (APEDA), among others.
The exhibition was supported by prominent sponsors such as Sartaj Industries, Dr.
Willmar Schwabe India Pvt. Ltd., Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), Steel Authority
of India Limited (SAIL), Visakhapatnam Port Authority, and Palladium Consulting Ltd.
This interactive platform enabled visitors to engage with various government departments and gain insights into welfare schemes and policies. Students explored career and educational opportunities, while visitors could exchange damaged currency notes at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) counter. The exhibition also highlighted India's vibrant cultural heritage through the work of artisans from organizations like the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), KVIC,
TRIFED, and the Coir Board. Their handmade products, blending traditional and modern art forms, were available for purchase, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship.
