Election guidelines for the Tata Motors Workers Union have been announced.

Jamshedpur: As part of the ongoing Tata Motors Workers' Union election process, the election guidelines and area-wise list for electing 85 committee members from 50 constituencies were issued on Friday.

According to the list, the World Truck Assembly Line will elect the most committee members, with six representatives. Assembly Line-1, Assembly Line-2, and the Frame Shop will all pick four committee members. In addition, three committee members will be elected from three constituencies, with 15 constituencies electing two members each. Meanwhile, 28 constituencies will elect one committee member each.

A total of 85 committee members will be elected from 50 constituencies. After the election program was posted on the union's notice board, employees were spotted avidly scrutinizing the details. The approaching election remained a popular topic of discussion among employees throughout the day.
