Hosur: Narayanan hails from Hosur in Krishnagiri district. His son Kannan (age 30), is a lawyer. He has been working as a junior lawyer for the last 2 years with Senior Advocate Sathyanarayanan near Hosur Farmers Market. Ananandakumar (39), a clerk from Hosur Namalpet area, who was following him as he was walking out of the court at one o'clock in the afternoon, cut him with a scythe that he had hidden. In this, Kannan got slashed in 8 places on his body including head, face and neck. On seeing another person cutting the lawyer with a sickle in the middle of the road, the motorists in the area were shocked and screamed and ran away. Anandakumar, who pushed the lawyer Kannan in front of the court in a flood of blood to get rid of his anger, then went straight to Hosur 2nd Judicial Magistrate Court with the sickle without any tension. He surrendered before the magistrate there. In this situation, other lawyers rescued Kannan and admitted him to a private hospital for treatment. He is receiving intensive care there. However, his situation is said to be very worrying. There has been a dispute between lawyer Kannan and lawyer Satyavathy, the wife of clerk Anandakumar, who was cut off in the preliminary investigation by the police. The investigation revealed that Anandakumar slashed Kannan with a sickle as he continued to argue. In this situation, lawyer Satyavathi, the wife of clerk Anandakumar, was arrested. The police arrested him as an accomplice to attempted murder and imprisoned him.
