National Pride Day celebrated at Khairpali village of Barpali Block

A special pallisava and training camp was held under the chairmanship of village Gram panchayat extension officer Rabikanta Sahu on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of eminent tribal leader Birshamunda at Khairpali village under Bhatigaon village of Barpali block, Bargarh district. First lighting of lamps by the guests. Bir Birsamunda's photograph was also worshipped. Oath was taken to build a clean India with a drug-free India. Ananta Seth, Zilla Parisad Member Agalpur Mandal, Himanchala Sahu, Sarpanch Bhatigaon Gram Panchayat, Debaraj Tandi, GPDO, Barsharani Meher Welfare Extension Officer, Anirudhha Bhoi, PS member were also present in the program. Dharmaraj Singh Bariha, Block President Tribal union , Jitendraya Dharua Ex-Sarpanch participated. Social welfare officers discussed in detail about various government schemes in the training camp. The program was felicitated by the secretary of District Tribal Federation Dhaneshwar Singh with the management. On this occasion A tree plantation program was held in the school premises.
