Reckless vehicle in the night city causes guardrail to fall, injuring the police officer on duty.
REPORTING BY ANIRBAN DAS:- In the night city, a reckless vehicle caused a serious incident at the Garden Reach flyover, resulting in injuries to a police officer on duty. The incident occurred around 1:30 AM on Sunday. At that time, a regular naka checking was taking place at the flyover. Just then, a motorcycle coming at high speed lost control and crashed into the guardrail. As a result of the impact, the guardrail fell and injured Sub Inspector Rajesh Modak, who was on duty. The motorcycle was involved in the accident that night at the Garden Reach flyover. The sub-inspector sustained an injury to his left ear and was taken to SSKM Hospital the same night. According to the latest reports, he is currently undergoing treatment. The accused motorcyclist is named Arjun Singh, aged 18, a resident of Shyamalal Lane in the Garden Reach police area. He has been arrested for riding the bike at high speed without wearing a helmet. Police have registered multiple charges against him, and the motorcycle has been confiscated. The CCTV footage from the area is also being reviewed to determine whether the youth was under the influence of alcohol.
