Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit Inaugurates C-295 Full Motion Simulator at Agra Air Force Station
*Agra, India* – In a significant advancement for the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) training and operational capabilities, Central Air Commander Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit inaugurated the C-295 Full Motion Simulator facility at Air Force Station, Agra. This state-of-the-art simulator allows transport aircraft pilots to undertake operational mission training and emergency handling exercises in a highly realistic environment, which is expected to enhance both operational capability and flight safety.
The C-295 transport aircraft, recently inducted into the IAF, is a major addition to India’s air transport fleet. Future units of the aircraft will be produced at the Tata Advanced Systems Limited facility in Vadodara, supporting the government’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) initiative.
According to IAF officials, this simulator facility marks a new phase in self-reliant defense manufacturing, combining advanced technology and indigenous production.
