A 32-year-old man died after he sat on a box of exploding firecrackers to win a bet in Bengaluru on Diwali night. The deceased and his six friends, who were all reportedly in an intoxicated condition, had allegedly bet that the others would buy the person who sits on the box an autorickshaw. A case of culpable homicide was registered.
