Vigilance Awareness Week Celebrated in Nalco Damanjodi


Damanjodi ; 1.11.: NALCO Vigilance Department,Damanjodi organized a Seminar on the theme " Culture of Integrity on Nation's prosperity " at HRD Training Center Auditorium of NALCO Damanjodi as a part of the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2024 on 01/11/2024. Prior to this, during the week long celebration many events were organized by the vigilance department to highlight the role and importance of remaining vigilant in all acts of life and observe sincerity and honesty in all walks of life. To spread the message among masses, competitions were also held among employees and many nearby and peripheral schools namely- DPS,SVM, SSVM, Mathalput, Koraput ,Alumina Girls High school, Mathalput , Malusanta Govt School, Mathalput ,Sri Aurobindo Purnanga Shikhya Kendra, Bhejaput and others and Prizes were distributed to the winning students of the school.
In the concluding day programme Mr. Pradymna Kumar Dwivedi. SP-Vigilance,Koraput Division graced the occasion as the chief guest while Mr.Niranjan Samal, ED(M&R),NALCO was the guest of honour . Apart from above

Representatives of trade Unions and Associations and local media personnel also attended the programme. The programme started with lighting of the lamp by the dignitories. The programme was coordinated by Mr. Siba Kumar Padhy, AGM-Vigilance, Mr. Achyutananda Behera, AGM-Vigilance and Mr. Shivesh Tiwari,Senior Manager-Vigilance and Mr. Vijay. The SP Vigilance gave an elaborated speech on the theme of the seminar and cited many relevant case studies of certain Vigilance related issues .
Mr. Achyutnanda Behera, AGM-Vigilance highlighted on the theme and briefly explained about Spiritual integrity, Ancient India and Modern India Economy,Corruption Perception index, Integrity Index etc..ED(M&R) Mr. N Samal in his address highlighted on the role of Vigilance and its consequential importance and implication on developing India and developed India . Around 120 participants registered and attended the programme. Mr. Shiv Kumar Padhy proposed Vote of thanks . Prizes were distributed by the guests to wining employees of various competitions.
