Telangana: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Officers Reshuffle: DoPT Issues Order

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has ordered several IAS and IPS officers, originally allocated to Andhra Pradesh but serving in Telangana, to report to AP by October 16, 2024. Senior IPS officer Anjani Kumar, along with IPS officers Abhilash Bist and Abhishek Mahanty, is among those affected. IAS officers Vaniprasad, Vakati Karuna, and Prashanthi must also move to AP. Meanwhile, IAS officers Srijana, Sivashankar, and Harikiran are required to shift from AP to Telangana. This reshuffle stems from a High Court ruling and could lead to further legal challenges from the officers involved.
