Actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has admitted to assaulting Renukaswamy in his statement to police, reports said. Darshan stated that Renukaswamy, who'd been kidnapped on his direction, had already been assaulted when he saw him. "I forcefully kicked [Renukaswamy's] head, neck and chest...I called Pavithra Gowda from the car and had her hit him with her slippers," Darshan was quoted as saying.
