Five Snatchers Arrested in Silchar: Police Secure Three-Day Remand:

In a significant breakthrough, Rangirkhari Police have arrested five notorious thieves involved in a string of mugging activities across Silchar. Acting on a tip-off, Cachar Police conducted a special operation, successfully apprehending the culprits who had been terrorising the town over the past few days. The police had been on high alert following several incidents of mobile phones, gold, cash, and other valuables being snatched in various parts of the city. These muggers had left residents anxious, prompting law enforcement to intensify their efforts to track down those responsible.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Suresh Singh, Raj Yadav, Mukesh Yadav, Anish Yadav, and Sarban Saha, all hailing from Kishanganj, Bihar. The police managed to nab them after meticulously tracing their activities across different areas of Silchar.Following their arrest, the suspects were presented before the court on Wednesday.
