Google Pay launches 'UPI Circle' for shared payments without bank linking

Google Pay has introduced UPI Circle, a feature enabling users to add family and friends as secondary users for digital payments without needing to link their bank accounts. Announced during the Global Fintech Fest 2024 in Mumbai, UPI Circle, developed in partnership with NPCI, allows both partial and full delegation of payment responsibilities.
