1992 batch IPS officer Nalin Prabhat to be Director General of J&K Police

After transferring Nalin Prabhat, Director General of National Security Guard (NSG), to the AGMUT cadre, the Centre, within within twelve hours, appointed Prabhat as the next Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police. Prabhat, a 1992 batch IPS officer with over twelve years of experience in the region, will succeed RR Swain, who is set to retire on September 30.
