Udhampur Taking suo cognizance of a video that was being circulated on social media at various platforms wherein a complainant has alleged that the revenue officials at Tehsil Ramnagar are demanding and accepting bribe for issuing RBA certificates, Dr. Piyush Singla, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur has placed the concerned patwari under suspension and the Girdawar concerned has been attached in the DC Office Udhampur till further orders.Further Tehsildar Ramnagar has been showcaused in the matter. DC has appointed Mr. Mohd Syed Khan, KAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner Udhampur as the Enquiry Officer to conduct an in-depth enquiry in the matter and to verify the authenticity and veracity of the allegations levelled on the revenue officials by the complainant. The matter has also been forwarded to Anti-Corruption Bureau for strict action in the matter.
