UK blues legend John Mayall passes away
John Mayall, the British blues pioneer known as "the godfather of British blues," has died at 90. Mayall passed away peacefully at his California home. As the leader of the Bluesbreakers, he influenced rock-music, with members later joining bands like Cream and Fleetwood Mac. Mayall was awarded an OBE, an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, in 2005.
