MANISH KUMAR GUPTA TAKES OVER THE CHARGE OF DIVISIONAL RAILWAY MANAGER OF MALDA DIVISION

Mr. Manish Kumar Gupta has taken over the charge of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of the Malda Division, on 22.07.2024. Shri M.K.Gupta succeeds Shri Vikas Chaube, who has been transferred to the National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd. as Director.

Shri Manish Kumar Gupta, an esteemed officer from the 1995 batch of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME), brings an extensive technical background and a wealth of experience to his new role. With an illustrious career spanning 29 years, Shri Gupta has consistently demonstrated his expertise and dedication to the Indian Railways through various key positions across Zonal Railways.

Before his appointment as DRM of Malda Division, Shri M.K.Gupta served as the Chief Mechanical Engineer/Planning (CME/P) of Eastern Railway (ER). His notable contributions include his tenure as Chief Workshop Manager of Kota Workshop and Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) of Ajmer. He has also provided valuable service as Deputy General Manager & Secretary, Deputy Chief Project Manager (DY.CPM), and Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer (DY.CME) in East Central Railway.

Shri M.K.Gupta's extensive experience and technical proficiency are expected to bring valuable insights and advancements to the Malda Division. Under his leadership, the division is anticipated to further enhance its efficiency and service quality, benefiting both the railway staff and passengers.
