25 Theft Motorcycles recovered ; A big achievement for joint operation of Laxmipur and Rayagada Police team under guidance of SDPO Laxmipur

Koraput; 20;7(RCD) Laxmipur police subdivision had got complaints from Mr. Kishore Chandra Sahu of Anajor village under Tikiri Police Station regarding rise in regular theft of motorcycles. Taking the complaint seriously the SP Koraput and Rayagda directed the SDPO Sunabeda & Laxmipur Mrs. M Satapathy to form a team and nab the culprits . Accordingly a joint team of Laxmipur and Kakirguma Police Station in association with the Padampur & Rayagada Police station had started their investigations . They were able to detect the brain behind the thefts who were reportedly staying behind the Laxmipur police Station. On arresting and interrogating the said culprits , and based on their information , the police team has been able to nab other culprits and recovered 23 motorcycles. Five accused persons namely Jgannath Kousalya, Judhisthir Kushalaya of Kalyansinghpur Mouza under Rayagada Town PS , Tukuna Bidika of Kenduguda under Padampur PS, Anil Surjaya of Penam under Gunupur PS, and Shivsankar Maliadi of Jatilinga village under Padampur PS have been arrested. The investigation is under process to collect further clues on the racket. This is a very big breakthrough by the dedicated effort of the SDPO and joint team of Rayagada, Padampur, Kakirguma and Laxmipur Police team. Vehicle Nos.
