Pratik Karmakar and Debojit Dutta creates the durgapuja theme song for Newtown BC block, this year.

On the pious occasion of Rath Yatra, Newtown BC block cultural association launches their new durgapuja theme song for the year 2024. Music director Pratik Karmakar has done the music arrangements & music programming of the song , has played all the instruments , has recorded the song and has also done the mixing and mastering of the song. The song has been composed and sung by Zee TV Saregamapa & Indian idol fame, Debojit Dutta. Song has been written by Ajay Karmakar.

The theme of New Town BC block cultural association's durga puja is "Putul Khela" where they wants to bring back the old traditions of "putul" ( doll made in rural areas ) which is now on the verge of being extinct. Pratik and Debojit have performed the song live have launched the song in front of all the people present at the event.
