Train accident in West Bengal - consequences indicate fault of Railway Department

The unprofessional approach in passenger services from Railway department's end driven the UP Kanchenjanga Express in accident on 17 th June early morning, at Rangapani near Siliguri caused by a collision with a goods train in a same track. The accident claimed the death of the drivers of two trains including 15 other persons and injuries of at least 60 persons.But Railway authority has a statement of death news of 8 persons including three railway officials. The four compartments of Kanchenjunga Express were damaged severely.Though the Railway officials were condemning the deceased running stuffs for the accident but a section railway personals are expressing their grievances of lack of stuffs because of non recruiting policy of the department. The automatic security system including Kavach anti collision system.
According to last report received the Kanchenjunga Express returned to Sealdah Station carrying more than 1200 passengers excluding the damaged four compartments.
Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi already declared Rs.5,00,000 for the families of deceased and Rs.50,000 for the injured persons.
