There was a magazine in Andhra Pradesh from 1980 to 1985 with this type of headings. The name of the magazine was 'Encounter'. The editor's name was 'Pingali Dasaratharam'. Gaddar, Kathi Padmarao and Pingali Dasaratharam were the three youths who ignited political and social consciousness among the youth in the 1980s. Pingali Dasharadharam founded the Encounter Paksha magazine at the age of 23. Pingali Dasaratharam, the editor of Encounter Magazine, which has a circulation of one lakh copies, studied only ninth standard. In 1972, he worked in the party magazine 'Comendo' founded by Vinukonda Nagaraju and in the monthly magazine 'Repu' under the editorship of C. Narasimha Rao and learned the techniques of running a magazine. In November 1979, he founded the partisan magazine 'Encounter' at the age of 23 with Rs. The magazine started with just two thousand issues and ran with a circulation of one lakh copies. Those who get it and those who don't get it are the ones who read till the last page. Only one Telugu magazine 'Commando' ran in this style. Before that, Mulukolu and Khasa Subbarao's 'Telugu Swatantra' were critical political magazines.
Venkatram is not a building without public strength. Dasharadharam used to criticize the popular NT Rama Rao with harsh words. NT Rama Rao used to create drama in his speeches and behavior. He strongly criticized the Congress till 1983 and then took the same attitude towards Telugu Desam which came to power. Everyone who read the stories of the encounter and the language used felt that it was alive. Readers wait for the encounter to know the hidden secrets behind every political event and changing developments. Readers who are used to reading Encounter are not satisfied with the articles in daily newspapers.
When Nadendla Bhaskara Rao joined hands with the Congress and with the help of the then Governor Ramlal, NT Rama Rao was overthrown from the Chief Minister's chair, all the non-Congress opposition parties united and stood by Rama Rao. All united and held open meetings all over the state.
