Nirsa police raided a hotel near Sindri turn and confiscated Imperial Blue, McDowell, BBFB Shaktiman and Toofani Desi liquor.

In view of the Lok Sabha elections, Nirsa police

is very vigilant. It does not want to leave any stone unturned to ensure that the elections are conducted peacefully. On the basis of information received from time to time, raids are conducted immediately on illegal trades such as sand, coal or liquor. In this context, today the police raided Kusheshwar Mahato's hotel near Sindri turn and confiscated the Indian and foreign liquor which was kept in cartons. Operator Mahato and his employees escaped from the back door of the hotel taking advantage of the darkness. The process of filing a named FIR is being done.

In this regard, police sources said that Nirsa police station in-charge Manjeet Kumar is getting confidential information that Indian and foreign liquor is being sold illegally in the said hotel. The police station in-charge reached Kusheshwar Mahato's hotel with his team for verification. Seeing the police coming, the hotel operator Mahato and his employees fled from the back door of the hotel. When the police reached inside the hotel, they found bottles of Toofani Desi liquor, foreign Imperial Blue, McDowell, BBFB Shaktiman kept in cartons which were confiscated. When no one was found for the seizure list, two constables Sanjay Kumar Paswan (1637) and Luv Kumar Singh (1100) became independent witnesses. A formal seizure list was prepared which was signed by both of them. The confiscated liquor was brought to the police station and legal action has been initiated.
